FEATURES & BENEFITS
Nutri-Shur™ Nutrient Assurance Program
Co-op's Nutri-Shur™ Nutrient Assurance Program is a complete multi step program that provides you with the knowledge that our products are manufactured, formulated and tested to deliver the nutrients you expect.
Bioavailable Trace Minerals
Significant quantities of the elements Copper, Cobalt and Manganese are included in a form that is much more available than the classic forms of trace minerals. These more available sources of trace minerals are much more readily absorbed and effectively utilized in the metabolic processes of goats.
Organic Zinc
Hoof hardness is classically associated with good hoof health and the subsequent reduction in the incidence of hoof problems in goats. Zinc has been demonstrated to improve hoof hardness and overall hoof health. Therefore, Supreme Goat Mineral contains a significant quantity of highly available zinc that is much more readily absorbed and effectively utilized in the metabolic processes of goats.
Production-Oriented Formulation
Targeted vitamin and mineral levels are specifically designed as a supplement to a sound forage program for healthy, growth and development in young kids as well as body maintenance and milk production in older goats.
Highly Palatable Formulation
Supreme Goat Mineral is a highly palatable product. By their very nature, vitamins and minerals tend to be unpalatable ingredients. Co-op has directly addressed the “need for consumption” aspect in formulating Supreme Goat Mineral.
Kelp Meal Inclusion
Research has demonstrated that kelp meal assists in the reduction of vascular constriction and the resulting elevated body heat levels in goats. By the reduction of these conditions, goats tend to be more active and productive. Supreme Goat Mineral includes kelp meal specifically to address this need.
Selenium Yeast
Selenium is a critical element that has significant anti-oxidant activity in goats. Selenium yeast is included in the formulation because of its improved bioavailability over other forms of supplemental selenium.
Mineral Inclusions
Minerals are primary components of proper structural development and maintenance. Macro and trace minerals are included in the proper relationship to each other.
Vitamin Inclusions
Vitamins A, D and E are essential to proper growth and development. Supreme Goat Mineral is fully fortified with the essential vitamins at appropriate levels to ensure that proper growth and development.
