Textured Form The combination of oats, cracked corn, molasses and pellets used to make 16% Coarse Lamb Grower-Finisher creates a highly palatable feed that lambs naturally like to consume. The palatability of this feed promotes intake, which in turn provides the lamb with the quantities of nutrients necessary for growth and development.
Protein and Amino Acid Balance Protein is necessary to facilitate muscle and tissue development as well as weight gain. Proteins are made up of amino acids and while it is certainly critical to supply the total amount of protein, it is also important that individual amino acids be included in the proper quantities and relationship to each other. 16% Coarse Lamb Grower-Finisher has been formulated to appropriately address all facets of the lamb’s protein/amino acid requirements so as to support all body functions.
Energy Level 16% Coarse Lamb Grower-Finisher has been designed with an energy level that will work in harmony with the proteins and other nutrients to allow for muscle and skeletal development, while maintaining tissue health and avoiding excessive fat deposition.
Added Minerals Minerals are primary components of proper body structure, body maintenance and wool quality. 16% Coarse Lamb Grower-Finisher is well fortified with both macro and trace minerals, all in proper relationship to each other.
Added Vitamins Vitamins A, D and E are added to help lambs remain healthy and maintain a robust appearance.
Ammonium Chloride Ammonium chloride has been included to help acidify urine, which has been shown to help prevent urinary calculi. Thus, ammonium chloride is the source of the non-protein nitrogen in 16% Coarse Lamb Grower-Finisher. The 16% crude protein in this product includes not more than 1.00% equivalent crude protein from non-protein nitrogen.

INGREDIENTS

Grain Products, Processed Grain By-Products, Plant Protein Products, Molasses Products, Calcium Carbonate, Roughage Products, Forage Products, Salt, Ammonium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, Potassium Sulfate, Propionic Acid (a preservative buffered with ammonia, water and propylene glycol), Selenium Yeast, Zinc Oxide, Manganous Oxide, Ferrous Sulfate, Sodium Molybdate, Ethylenediamine Dihydriodide, Sodium Selenite, Cobalt Carbonate, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D-3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Lambs should be fed twice a day and worked up to full feed over a 2 to 3 week period. To maintain rumen health and prevent digestive upset, feed 0.50 to 0.75 lb of fine stemmed hay per head per day along with the full feed of 16% Textured Lamb Grower-Finisher. Do not exceed 0.30 ppm supplemental selenium in the total ration.
