FEEDING DIRECTIONS


 Unbred (resting) does*: Limit feed 4 oz per head per day. Does during gestation*: Limit feed 4 oz per head per day. Lactating does: Provide free-choice feed, up to 6-8 oz per head per day. Doe and litter (to 3 weeks of age): Provide free-choice feed, up to 0.5 - 1.0 lb per head per day. Doe and litter (3 weeks to weaning): Provide free-choice feed, up to 1-2 lbs per head per day. Growing rabbits (4 to 7 lb): Provide free-choice feed, up to 4-6 oz per head per day. Bucks*: Limit feed 4 oz per head per day. *Feed according to condition. Poor reproductive performance can occur when bucks and/or does become excessively fat. It is not necessary to feed hay with Co-op Complete Rabbit Pellets. If of high quality, hay may be fed if desired. It must be fine stemmed, leafy and well cured. Alfalfa and legume hays are suitable. Cutting the hay into 3 to 4 inch lengths will help prevent waste.
